The NV10S is the new flagship instrument of the Novus range, and successor to the award-winning NV10 hybrid piano. This updated model retains the industry-leading Millennium III Hybrid grand piano keyboard action and unique real damper mechanism of its predecessor, while upgrading a number of sound, delivery, and operation characteristics.
The NV10Sʼ improved SK-EX Rendering multi-channel sound engine features enhanced acoustic piano samples, with new Virtual Technician parameters to precisely control the attack, release, and sustain characteristics of each piano. The updated NV10S retains the high fidelity audio processing and powerful amplification of the original NV10, while improving the instrumentʼs overall speaker system. First, the diameter or the lower bass speaker has been increased from 16 cm to 20 cm, resulting in a warmer, more rounded sound. This upgrade is supported by a redesigned, stronger speaker enclosure that delivers greater power and precision. Finally, the position of the NV10Sʼ upward-facing speakers has also been subtly expanded, contributing to a smoother, and even more acoustic-like listening experience for both the player and their audience.
As with its predecessor, the NV10S incorporates a 5" touchscreen
display discretely embedded within the instrumentʼs left
cheekblock. The touchscreenʼs updated hardware and software adopts
the same system design and user interface introduced with the
CA99/CA79 digital pianos. This improved UI is optimising for
pianists, and provides easier access to additional sound and
functions that inspire musical creativity. The NV10S retains the
convenient Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth Audio functionality of the
original Novus, with added support for the advanced aptX algorithm
allowing high quality audio to be streamed through the pianoʼs
superb amplifier and speaker system wirelessly, with minimal
latency.
Finally, as with all new Kawai instruments, the NV10S fully
supports the latest PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer apps for iOS and
compatible Android devices, providing an effortless way to control
the instrument wirelessly from a smartphone or tablet, or to study
the notated scores for many of the built-in classical etudes and
piano pieces from the comfort of an armchair.

An assembly package contains:
This means that you do not need to consider anything yourself, but rather simply sit back and enjoy your new instrument. We assembly the instrument for you before the delivery and our carriers will place it where you wish.
You pay both for the montage and delivery, but also for carrying it up to a floor. This also applies if it is the ground level in a house. The price is automatically calculated at checkout and starts at 1.200,- DKK. It is important that you indicate if you want the instrument to be placed on the bottom floor of an ordinary house when you are in the checkout, otherwise an extra invoice might be sent out for this service afterwards.
